Pirates Buster for Web Page is a packaged solution which consists of 2 products: ‘Picture’ which protects the images and ‘Web’ which protects the entire page. Pirates Buster for Picture protects the image files such as GIF/JPEG/BMP/PNG included in HTML. The images can be viewed as usual, but cannot be copied, edited, saved or printed.

Basic Configuration and Mechanism

Web Manager (client side)

  USB key used to start/operate Web Locker and Image Locker.
  
  
• Web Locker
  Web Locker encrypts content such as HTML files and related images by applying license (key).
  The encryption automatically registers the applied license (key) to the key server. Build the Web site so that the license (key) is downloaded at the time when a viewer accesses the Web site. The encrypted content is then uploaded to the content server.
  
  
• Image Locker
  Image Locker encrypts the image content and uploads the encrypted content to the content server.
  Viewers (server side)
  
  
• Key (license) server
  The Web manager registers and manages the license which is to be registered when the content is encrypted.
  The same license (key) is granted to the viewer when viewing the encrypted content.
  
  
• Content server
  The server that transmits the Web content on the network.
  
  
• Viewers operation
  To view the Web site, the viewers need only to access the site as usual. When the viewer accesses the encrypted content for the first time, ‘View-Control’ (decryption/display program) is automatically installed.
