Setting access points
- For access point, we will make settings so as to use external Radius server at WPA2-Enterprise mode.
Setting IPN Station
- IPN Station's management screen is Web UI.
Setting screen is based on a simple design only using account management screen,
PSK management screen, and Web UI management screen. - In the account management screen, user ID is registered to issue initial certified value.
User ID and initial certified value are registered with IPN Supplicant. - In the PSK management screen, shared password, or PSK(*1), to permit all the Supplicant
that attempt to access.
In the initial authentication, Supplicant attempts to access using shared password,
but once authentication is established certified values are automatically updated,
thus ensuring secure communications.
*Please note that PSK need to be disabled during normal operation.
(*1)PSK is Acronym of Pre-Shared-Key.
Setting IPN Supplicant
- From the terminal where IPN Supplicant is installed, users register initial certified value
and user IP issued by IPN Station. - Once connection to access point is established, secure communications using EAP-IPN
protocol are commenced.
